1. Educational Use Disclaimer
IronIQ is provided strictly as an educational awareness platform. All content, assessments, scores, recommendations, and AI assistant responses are intended to support general health literacy.
IronIQ is not designed or intended to be used as a medical product, clinical decision-support tool, or substitute for professional healthcare.
2. No Medical Advice
Nothing on IronIQ constitutes medical advice, professional opinion, or a doctor–patient relationship.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for advice tailored to your individual situation, history, and symptoms.
3. No Medical Diagnosis
IronIQ does not diagnose iron deficiency, anemia, or any other condition. Scores and category labels reflect self-reported habits and awareness only, not clinical status.
Do not interpret any output of this site as a diagnosis. Only licensed clinicians and laboratory tests can determine your iron status.
4. No Medical Treatment
IronIQ does not prescribe, suggest, or recommend any medication, supplement dose, or medical treatment.
Speak with a licensed clinician before making changes to medication or supplementation, including over-the-counter iron supplements, which can be harmful when not medically indicated.
5. User Accounts
Creating an IronIQ account is optional. You may use the assessment and receive your results without signing up.
Accounts exist to let you save and track your assessment history. You may register using any valid email address.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your sign-in credentials confidential.
6. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, including any assessments saved to it.
You agree not to share your account with others, impersonate another person, or create an account on behalf of someone without their authorization.
If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, change your password immediately and contact us.
7. Password Security
Passwords must be at least 8 characters. We hash and salt your password using industry-standard algorithms — we cannot see or retrieve it.
Password resets are performed via a one-time link sent to your registered email address. Never share that link with anyone.
You are responsible for choosing a strong, unique password and for any consequences of failing to do so.
8. Saved Assessment Data
When signed in, each completed assessment is saved to your account with its date, awareness score, risk category, your selected responses, and the personalized recommendations shown to you.
Saved assessments are visible only to you and are protected by row-level database security.
You can view, export, or delete your saved assessments at any time from the Account Settings page.
9. User-Generated Information
Optional notes you write during the assessment are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
You agree not to submit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, infringing, or harmful content, and not to enter sensitive personal medical information or identifiers of other people.
You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting it, you grant IronIQ a limited license to process it solely to operate the service for you.
10. Data Retention
Saved assessments and account information are retained for as long as your account is active.
Anonymous assessment data stored on your device persists until you clear your browser storage.
Contact-form messages may be retained as long as needed to respond and improve the project.
11. Account Deletion
You may delete your IronIQ account at any time from the Account Settings page. Deletion permanently removes your saved assessments, history, personalized recommendations, and account information.
Account deletion cannot be undone.
12. User Responsibilities
You agree to use IronIQ for personal, educational purposes only and to interpret its content responsibly.
You agree not to enter sensitive personal medical information, identifiers of other people, or content that is unlawful, harassing, or harmful.
You are responsible for any decisions you make based on the information you read or receive here.
13. Privacy and Data Handling
Assessment answers taken without an account are stored locally in your browser to preserve your progress and results between visits.
When signed in, your completed assessments are stored in our managed cloud database with row-level security.
Messages you submit to the AI assistant are transmitted to our model provider for the sole purpose of generating an educational response. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
14. Intellectual Property
All IronIQ content — including text, design, illustrations, code, and branding — is the property of the IronIQ team and is provided for personal, non-commercial educational use.
You may share screenshots and the social share card for personal, non-commercial awareness. Republishing or redistributing IronIQ content without permission is not permitted.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the IronIQ team, contributors, and partners are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it.
16. No Warranty
IronIQ is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information will be correct or current.
17. Third Party Services
IronIQ may rely on third-party providers (such as hosting, authentication, database, and AI model providers) to deliver parts of the service. Their performance and policies are outside of our direct control.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
18. AI Assistant Limitations
The IronIQ AI assistant is a general-purpose educational helper. It can make mistakes, omit important context, and is not a replacement for a licensed clinician.
The assistant will never knowingly diagnose a condition, recommend a specific medication, or substitute for emergency care. Treat its responses as a starting point for further learning and conversation with a healthcare professional.
19. Not for Emergencies
IronIQ is not for medical emergencies.
If you or someone else may be experiencing a medical emergency — including severe symptoms, chest pain, fainting, heavy bleeding, or thoughts of self-harm — stop using this service and contact local emergency services immediately.
20. Changes to Service
We may change, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of IronIQ at any time without notice.
Material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
21. Contact Information
Questions about these terms can be sent to contactironiq@gmail.com or through the Contact page.
